About
Leonard Cagno is an accomplished entrepreneur, aviation professional, and business strategist with a career defined by adaptability, leadership, and innovation. From his early days as a flight instructor and airline pilot to his role as a partner in multiple successful ventures, Leonard has built a professional legacy grounded in precision, integrity, and results. A native of West Hempstead, New York, Leonard grew up with a passion for athletics and teamwork, playing football, volleyball, and basketball throughout high school. His drive for excellence led him to Dowling College, where he earned a degree in Aviation Management with a minor in Marketing. There, he became a certified flight instructor (CFI, CFII, CPL, INS) and later flew for a regional airline under the Continental Airlines brand, piloting Q400s and CRJ900s across the country. Transitioning from aviation to finance, Leonard joined AXA Advisors, where he obtained his Series 7, Series 66, and Life & Health licenses, helping clients navigate investments and financial planning. His ability to combine technical skill with strategic thinking eventually led him to entrepreneurship. Over the years, Leonard has founded, scaled, and advised several businesses, including Cambridge Who’s Who, Marquis WW, ACS Consulting, TEG Health, and TEG Wellness—where he currently serves as a Partner. At TEG Wellness (tegwellness.com), Leonard and his team focus on integrating health insurance, wellness benefits, technology, and payroll solutions to help companies optimize employee care and efficiency. His approach blends business innovation with genuine care for people, believing that sustainable success starts with improving both organizational health and human well-being. A lifelong learner, Leonard emphasizes continuous growth and adaptability as the cornerstones of leadership. His professional philosophy centers on clarity, discipline, and purpose—principles shaped by mentors, family, and personal experience. Outside of work, Leonard enjoys flying, hockey, and time with his children, staying active and grounded through family and sports. His story reflects the mindset of a true builder: stay adaptable, lead with integrity, and create impact that lasts.
